Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum (ra), or otherwise called as Amru Ibn Umm Maktoom was a companion of Prophet Muhammad (saw). He was blind from birth, so his mother- Aatika, was also known as ‘Umm Maktum’, which meant the mother of the blind. This companion was the first cousin of Prophets wife- Khadija (ra). Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktum (ra) was among the first converts to Islam. He suffered along with his brothers when the Muslims were persecuted in Makkah. Watch the amazing story of this Sahabah today!
